September is the month of good intentions and we decided to start again with our daily routine by introducing a small change for the preservation of our planet: starting from this month (as soon as we run out of stock) assembly instructions and technical informations will not be printed and included with the packaging in a paper format anymore.

Consider that in one year, only in the north of Italy, each inhabitant consumes about 63.3 kg of paper.
During 2020, in CDC Elettromeccanica we sold about 335,000 products from our catalog, which means the same number of instructions sheets included in the packaging. We estimated that this is about 1 and a half tons of paper, a significant amount.

Our customers just need one technical sheet for each batch of products, that starting from now they can download in PDF format using the QR Code printed on the packaging.
Making the packaging more compact is a way to reduce its weight and facilitate logistics, but it is also a moral behavior that allows us to reduce our impact on the environment with a small action.
